Chapter Two, Part One: The Unwelcome Visitor

It was the morning about a week after Erin had moved into her new
home and she was waking up later than usual. She spent the night before
enjoying some drinks and watching a movie by herself in her room. It was
an uneventful night, nothing different than how her normal nights went.
As she was waking up, her head throbbed from a headache, probably
from how much she had to drink. She felt like all the energy was drained
from her body and that she couldn't do anything except lay down again.

She contemplated whether she was going to go back to bed or just
get up and start her day. She never had any plans or business she had
to jump on right away as her friends usually were too busy with work
or children. Her life was boring and dull, but she seemed okay with that.

Erin finally decided to just relax on her bed and watch television for the
rest of the morning. Relaxing sounded better than getting up and trying
to figure out what she wanted to do. Some might call Erin lazy, but she
just thought of it as laid back; really she's just a couch potato!

As she was distracted by the sound of the television show, someone
entered in the house through the backdoor. The lock was broken on the
sliding glass door and they were able to just walk in without difficulty.
However, the heaviness of the glass door moving against the sliding track
made a loud enough sound that one could hear it from upstairs. Even though
the robber was quiet about sneaking in, he failed to silence the sound of the door.
Erin heard the door sliding open and she rushed out of bed to see what was going on.
She hurried down the stairs to see who had opened the door in the
living room, but she didn't see anyone. The robber had ran into the
kitchen and was able to sneak up behind her. She was freaking out
and seemed clueless to the fact that he was there in the room.
As he slowly approached her, she started to walk toward the door
and looked around. She closed the sliding door after she made sure
that there was no one outside the door. If she had turned around at
this point, she would have seen her attacker!

She began to mumble to herself in fear about how the door got open
and who may have tried to come inside. The robber stopped in his tracks.
He was amused by how unaware of his presence she was.
But he didn't wait for too long...
Before she had a chance...

He was pushed her against the glass door and started to kiss her.
It seemed he had more than burglary on his mind when he broke
into her home! He was forceful and rough as he put all his weight
against her arms and insisted on taking a kiss from her.

Before he could come any closer, she freaked out and with all her strength,
she pushed him away from her. She started to scream and begged for him
to leave her alone, but he became angry and refused to leave her be.
He wanted his way with her and wasn't going to take "no" for an answer.

The robber was furious with her actions and slapped her on the cheek.
"DON'T YOU EVER SAY NO! You are mine! NOW SHUT UP!" he yelled.

He slapped her a few more times...
Her head began to spin and throb in pain.

After he felt that he had done enough to her face, he stopped slapping her
and punched her in the nose. The blows to the face started to cause her
to feel faint. She couldn't hold herself up and ended up collapsing!
As she sat against the wall on the floor, she began to cry from the pain.
He pushed her head against the sheet rock wall a few times and kept on
shouting, "ARE YOU GONNA LISTEN NOW?" She couldn't think...

She fainted and laid unconscious on the floor.

It seemed hopeless for her at this point... Things looked grim...
He dragged her over to the couch and looked around for a bed
to put her own. He lifted the couch cushions and noticed it was a
pull out bed. He took the couch apart and lifted the bed out.
As he was beginning to take her clothing off...
Someone appeared in the window...
