Back Home Sweet Home

After six days in Egypt, we finally came home
to our beautiful white house.
Evie was so tired so plopped down on her bed and
fell asleep for a good couple hours. I don't blame her,
I did the same thing...

Then afterward, she tried out her new kitchen
and made some muffins! (:
MMMMmmmm... Vanilla...

She was so into stargazing... She even discovered
a satellite ... She's gonna be an explorer or scientist.

While she was busy exploring the house,
I wanted to give snake charming a try...
I wasn't good at all..

The snake thought I sounded horrible,
but for some reason I thought digging in the basket
would make it come out...
I got bit! :S

So instead... I asked Evie if she wanted a makeover.
She was delighted and we spent some good time together.

She's so beautiful!! I love my little girl!

I then taught Evie to sing.
Nagi taught me Oh, Where is My Mummy while
in Egypt. I love singing now! Evie has a nice voice,
but we need to work on her notes, hehe.

I got bored and turned on the boom box.
I love dancing and getting into the rhythm.

This here is Evie getting jiggy with it, hah.

Egypt: Day Two Thru Six - Lovin' Mummies!

Day two in Egypt came rather quickly.
I explored the sand-hills and raced passed the palms
looking for stones and treasures.

While I was away, I met this delightful man.
He wasn't rich, he was somewhat of a beggar.
He asked me to find him rare, exquisite stones...
I gladly did, and after a little, I fell head over heels for him.

We did some things and romanced and well...
I may have some buns in the oven!
(I will admit, I am a sucker for romance...)

After visiting that cunning gentleman, whose last name is Nagi.
I went to the village market to speak with some locals.
This time, Evie tagged along and borrowed their telescope.

I went once more to visit Nagi.
Evie didn't care what I was doing,
but insisted I let her tag along.

I was told of a tomb I could go visit in a pyramid...
Evie said she wanted to come badly...
I only allowed her to stay on the top floor..

I double checked everything to ensure Evie would be
safe. I know that it's not a kid-friendly place,
but I brought her here to Egypt for a reason.

I dove into a pool of water and made sure there
was no traps near by.

I had to disarm a fire trap. I know it's dangerous for her
to be there... but she's almost 10 now...

I picked flame fruit while Evie waited so patiently.

We got out from there and this was the last thing Evie saw
that night... Beautiful!

I left Evie at Base Camp and went to the Sphinx.
I had been dying to see this awesome relic!

Unfortunately for me...
There were MUMMIES THERE!!!
They got the best of me...

Especially this fat one... o_O
I didn't know that they let them indulge in their food
cravings that much back then...
I made it back home and the next day we went home.

Day One in Egypt

On the first day of the trip, I decided to explore town.
I met up with this one woman who was talking with a small child.
I asked what was new in town and what kind of things
I might be able to explore here. She gave me some ideas,
so I was about to head off.

Meanwhile, Evie was busy chatting with some nice
ladies at base camp.

I found the entrance to the first tomb I was told to
go explore.

I found an old stone chest and looked inside.

I lifted a heavy crescent moon shaped stone out of
the stone chest and put it in the "lock" on the wall.

"WALL"-aaa... the door opened.

I had to figure out many puzzles to get some of these
doors open... the ancients must have never wanted
anyone to see this stuff...

I had to push and pull stones to keep the steps you stand
on open, in order to break the seal on the door.

After finding some treasure, I headed back to
base camp for the night.

I came back in my very sporty car only to find my little
girl wasn't there!!!! I was so frantic!
I was just about to go looking for her, but I called her name
first to see if I could prevent having to chase her down.

I called for her and she came running home...
THANK GOODNESS!!

That silly girl was out looking for moths...
That was the end of an exciting day...

Introduction: The Startings of a Family

Hey there, I just wanted to introduce myself...
I am Scarlette Mead...
I live with my daughter, Evie in a beautiful home in Riverview.
I really don't know where to start, but basically
my parents died a year ago and unfortunately I am a single child.
While living alone in a big home, I got robbed, as well as something
very unspeakable... The good that came of it... I have a daughter now.

She's a beautiful baby girl and quite smart at that.
I don't know who her father is and I may never know.
Since I have to raise this little girl alone,
I want more children for her to grow up with.

After Evie learns everything a toddler needs to learn,
I will take her on a trip, after her next aging up.

Shortly after she grew up into a beautiful young girl.
She's very intuitive and always curious.

We are going to Egypt.

We arrived at base camp and we have 6 days to enjoy,
explore, and collect treasures and experience!
Then after that.. Evie is off to Elementary School!
