Recovery After Tragedy With a Son

It has been two days since Cooper passed away....
I am miserable and I miss him with all my heart.
I miss Shyla as much. I wish they never passed away like they did.
I hung his portrait up in the dining room next to a flame lamp,
so I may always see his smiling face when I come home.

The girls aren't coping well at all and wish they didn't have to go
go school, but they won't fight me about doing their studies.
Genesis is mildly depressed and frustrated with having seen her father
after his sudden departure.

Garlyne isn't happy at all. She's so depressed she stops to cry.
Her imaginary friend doesn't know how to help, so she says.

I haven't stopped crying since and this pregnancy is hard on me.
I hope I am carrying a boy, so that his father's legacy
can live on.

Garlyne finally sat down to do her homework late this evening,
but she was interrupted by her imaginary friend.
He came prancing around asking for attention.

She handed him a potion she made with the chemistry set
and he drank it all down. Bubbles arose, sparkles shimmered,
the imaginary friend gasped.

He became a real boy! It was dim light, so it was hard to see him.
But he had some sort of purplish hair, pale skin, and black eyes.
He smiled at her and said thank you.

Paeul became a real boy just in time for bed time!

In the light, Paeul's hair is a light purple with pink and
yellow highlights. He retained his beady black eyes from
being a doll. I think he is a cute boy!

The next day, I went to check the mail and received
a letter stating condolences for my husband's untimely death.
I cried, it was from my grandmother. I haven't ever met her, but
I guess my mother has kept up with her. Baysly is a vampire, so she lives longer
than me. Oh goodness.

I went inside to find Paeul not in school.
I asked him why he was here and not studying.
He said he was going to go tomorrow. I was fine with that.

I let him feel my tummy as the baby was kicking
at my sides. He was so delighted to connect with such
an amazing feat of nature.

All the sudden I was having labor pains!
The baby was coming!

Genesis came home to find me gasping in pain from
contractions and started to freak out.

I got ready to have the baby!

I had a baby boy!!! Oh my gosh!
My first son! Cooper's first son!

I named him Conner Mead in honor of his father.
Welcome to the family, Connor! <3
