Time For Change ~ New Love & Life & Heir

Hey everyone, I'm Garlyne Mead.
I just witnessed my mother having a breakdown...

She came home with Connor's twin, Chloe
and started saying my father told her she was still pregnant.
She's not gotten over my father's death and
swears that she has seen his ghost. I am not so sure, but
I love her and want her to be happy.

I wasn't handling home life well and decided to visit the Murrey
household where my friends Greggory and Jamee live.
I got bored and started cleaning up leftovers that his mom's friends left.

Jamee started asking me what she should wear for
school tomorrow and I helped her out. She chose
a long sleeve dress with a tank top. My sister likes that style as well,
but she wears leggings and uggs. It's majorly popular at school.
I prefer simple dresses.

When I got home, I saw Genesis was teaching my brother
Connor how to walk. He was so excited to be walking on his own.

My mom was so attached to baby Chloe and
she hadn't let her own of her sight since she got
back from the hospital. Chloe was sick so it makes sense.

Through out the week Chloe caught on to walking
and with assistance started taking more steps everyday.
She's slowly learning what every toddler needs to know.

After school, Genesis taught Connor words and
tried to get him to talk. She loves that little boy.
He is just like dad.

My mom kept trying to get Chloe to talk all week,
but she was struggling with Chloe's speech.
The little tot doesn't respond well and struggles to form
words properly. I am sure with time she will.

Later on that week, Chloe aged up to a child.
She's a pretty little girl. She doesn't talk much yet,
not that it stops her from expressing herself! She loves to
draw pictures!

Connor aged up and is a spitting image of our father!
I love how he is taking after him. The only boy in the family!

That weekend, Mom got a random call late at night
asking if she'd like a free vacation. They said it'd be for
a few days later on that week. She was excited.

Connor came to her and asked her why she was so happy.
She said, "Mommy is going to go on a vacation for a few days,
but your sisters are going to take care of you and Chloe."
Connor wasn't very happy with that idea.

Meanwhile, Chloe was enjoying her time on the springy horse
outside in the backyard. She loves the excitement when it rocks back and forth.

She also loves swinging because it makes her feel free
and as if she can fly!

Meanwhile, during the week, I was busy with my boyfriend!
Me and Paeul (Pay-ul) couldn't stop kissing for even
a second because it felt so good to be with each other.

He asked me a question, he said, "Can I show you a surprise?"
I answered with a yes!
He ran off to the spiral staircase and sprinted up the stairs.

He slowly came down the stairs again with a confident stride.
His hair was a different shade of purple and he spiked it with gel!

He looked at me and said, "Oh baby, you did this to me!"
I stared at him with awe, not sure of what to say.

He pulled me close and said, "I love you Garlyne.
You turned me into a new man."
He then proceeded to kiss me.

I let him kiss me, but then I had to ask what he meant
and why he dyed his hair. He gave me a long stare before
saying, "Imaginary friends who fall in love with the one who made
them real, tend to change inside and outside. If our hearts change, our hair changes.
I have fallen in love with you! Thus my hair is a bright blue violet!"
"Oh Paeul! I LOVE YOU TOO!" I cried!

Later that day, we went to the movies on a date!
My cousin Breena was there, but after seeing a movie
she was obviously tired and complained about wanting to go bed.
We told her to go home...

We bought our tickets and went inside.
It was late when we got out of the theater.
So we went to the park to see if we could watch the stars.
I asked, "Hey you wanta sit down and look at the sky?"
He replied, "Yea! I have been wanting to for awhile!"

We sat down on the prickly, green grass. I looked at him
in the soft yellow moonlight. I loved how his hair
glowed.

We settled in and sat for awhile. I kept pointing out stars
and all the constellations I knew.
As we leaned back and held hands, green sparkles arose
from Paeul's hair. Wow, I never knew that imaginary friends
were so mystical! I truly was amazed.

I honestly spent more time thinking about him than
I did about the stars. I love him so much and didn't
realize it until now. We were so close as children,
especially when my parents didn't know he was there.

Before we left for the night to head home,
he looked at me one more time and said,
"You are so amazing and beautiful, even in the star light."
We kissed and headed home.

As I was riding home on my scooter, all I could think about
was him. At home, we never really had much privacy...
I know we are teenagers... but still...

My mom finally headed out to her free vacation.
She left pretty quickly and didn't really give us much
word on how to contact her. My grandma did this to her
and her sister. I don't understand what this free vacation is about.
It's pretty suspicious, but whatever.

Since Mom wasn't going to come back for awhile,
school was finished and we decided to age up to young adults
and my sister Genesis was going to stay here and watch the kids.

I kept my same hair style and chose a cute green dress
for my everyday wear.

When Paeul aged up, he said he was changing his name
to just Pay. He surprised me and I got on his case, but
I said sorry and he forgave me.

Pay is so cute. I hope we get married and have lots of kids!
I wonder what they will look like! I love his blue violet hair with
blonde flecks!

This is Genesis as a young adult. She stayed pretty much the same,
except she has a simple up-do now. She looks so much like Dad!

Before the day was over, I called the real estate office
in town and got a good deal on a house across town.

Pay and I took the Ford Focus and drove to our new home.

We got a house with a beautiful garden in front and
a nice front patio. It's a huge three story house with
a garage! Dad put a bunch of money aside for me in his will.
Thanks Daddy!

When we got inside the house, Pay was so excited.
"This house is amazing! We are going to have a great life
together here, but first I have something I want you to
see," he said.

He knelt down on one knee, pulled out a ring,
and said, "Garlyne I love you so much, will you do
me the honor of marrying me?"
I was in so much shock!

I put out my hand and said, "Yes Pay I will marry you!"
He slipped on the ring, which glistened and sparkled as he slid it up
 my fourth finger.

I hugged him tightly.
I was so thrilled that he asked me that.

"Are you okay, baby?" he asked, "Are you having
second thoughts?"

"No, I am just in shock and awe. I never thought
it'd come so soon. So what is our wedding going to be like?"
